We are a friendly and varied group of people that get together to share a common interest - the love of stitching.

Our new home is Bicker Village Hall, a big, bright, light space where we will be able to have two or three small happenings at the same time, should we want to.  Ample well-lit car-parking all within a quiet and easy to get to village location makes the venue special.   And a lovely kitchen is the icing on the cake. ( We do like cake! ) There is even a shop close by for essentials.

We are really looking forward to our meetings there.  Our morning group meets every fourth FRIDAY in the month, from 9.30am to 12.30pm with no meetings in August and December.

And we are hoping to start a new group, the Boston Stitchers Too, which will meet on the previous Thursday evening, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, as we recognise that daytime meetings are difficult for some.  There are no August or December meetings for this group either.

Within the established group we have traditional embroiderers, some that are new to stitching, and some that are experimentalists with more modern techniques, such as dyeing, embellishing, machine embroidery and felting.  It's a good mix of all sorts of skills and interests, and anyone is welcome to come along and meet us with a view to joining. We foresee the new group to be much the same mix; and if you have never stitched before we will have members on hand to help you begin.

Sometimes we have a speaker, sometimes a show and tell, sometimes a workshop where we explore a new stitch or technique.    We enjoy it all, and hope you will come along and find that you do too.
